Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about the PlatPhorm News Network, our federated sites, APIs, and how to get involved.
What is PlatPhorm News Network?
PlatPhorm News Network is a federated network of 100+ interconnected sites delivering news, tools, and services for 8 billion people. Our network spans content verticals including Space, Finance, Gaming, Health, Entertainment, and Developer Tools - all connected via MCP (Model Context Protocol) for AI integration.
How do I submit content or news?
You can submit content through our documentation portal at docs.platphormnews.com. Create an account, write your article using our editor, and submit for review. Approved content is distributed across relevant network sites automatically.
What is MCP and how does it work?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is our AI integration layer. Each site in the network exposes its capabilities through /api/mcp endpoints, allowing AI assistants to search, read, and interact with content across the entire network. Visit mcp.platphormnews.com for the full tool catalog.
How do I access RSS feeds?
Every site in the network has an RSS feed at /rss.xml. For example, space.platphormnews.com/rss.xml for space news. The main network aggregated feed is available at platphormnews.com/rss.xml which combines headlines from all network sites.
Is PlatPhorm News free to use?
Yes! PlatPhorm News is completely free with no ads and no paywalls. Our mission is to provide accessible news and tools for everyone. We believe information should be free and open.
How do I integrate with the API?
Each network site provides API documentation at /api/docs. Our OpenAPI specifications are available for all endpoints. For AI integration, use the MCP endpoints. For traditional REST access, use the /api/v1 endpoints with standard HTTP methods.
What sites are in the network?
The network includes 100+ sites across categories: Content (Space, Sports, Wrestling), Finance (Finance, Real Estate), Gaming (Games, Quake, GTA), Tools (ASCII, Reader, Sheets), Productivity (Kanban, Calendar), Entertainment (Mermaids), Crafting (Glassblowing), Automotive (Flamethrowers), Lifestyle (Vanlife, Fortune), Health (Greens), Shopping (GlobalShop), and Developer tools (JSON, XML, Markdown).
How do I report issues or provide feedback?
You can report issues through our GitHub repository at github.com/platphormnewsnetwork or reach out via email to michael@barbineworldwide.com. We also monitor feedback submitted through docs.platphormnews.com.
Are you hiring?
Yes! We're currently looking for Content Creators and a Chief Influencer to join our team. Visit our Jobs page for details and to apply with your resume.
What is Claws.platphormnews.com?
Claws is our dedicated platform for deep research, specialized AI integration, and advanced analytics for the network. It interfaces closely with our MCP hubs.
How is the network architected?
The PlatPhorm News Network uses a federated microservices architecture. Each site is an independent Next.js application hosted on Vercel, connected through shared APIs and the MCP protocol. Sites share common authentication, analytics, and content distribution infrastructure.
What technologies power PlatPhorm News?
Our stack includes Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, and Vercel for hosting. We use MCP for AI integration, RSS 2.0 for content syndication, and OpenAPI for API documentation. All sites follow the same architectural patterns for consistency.
